While Derek rests post-surgery still, and the weather is getting a very bitter chill in the Colorado air, we have been nothing but lazy around the Underhill house this weekend! Davis got his new chainsaw (a gift Aunt Karen bought before he was even 1 year old and we had been storing in the closet. He was determined to take it outside and cut down some trees).
Davis assisted me in making Halloween cupcakes. He enjoys using the mixer, as well as licking the bowl and the leftover batter! Our cupcakes turned out pretty well and are super yummy!

Mae has been fighting a little fever this weekend- I keep waiting for it to break so that we don't have to take a trip to the pediatrician. I imagine that it is something viral. However, she isn't too thrilled lately. AND she is drooling a TON . . . . note the stream in the photo above! She is just now beginning to sit in the high chair without a battle . . . still leans to one side though. She has outgrown the Bumbo seat since she flips herself out of it now. This is her favorite spoon, the Sassy spoon Davis hated . . . she doesn't want to eat from it, merely chew it. Great for teething apparently!
