The Underhill Farm is back to the daily grind here in Colorado. Dyan has officially returned to classes at the University of Denver (in her second year as a PhD student now). She has also returned from a nice (but short) maternity leave and is back to work teaching an 8am class. Davis had his first day of school at Montessori on Monday- it was a sad day for a new mom. Dyan is embarrassed to admit that she cried when she walked out of the building after leaving Davis. Such a little man . . . such big steps in his life already! He did well at his first day and seems to be adjusting to life without mom. Now, if mom can only adjust to life without Davis!
In other news, we are still waiting to hear the status of the Corolla (whether it will be totaled or not). In the meantime Derek still drives his rental. He is fine from the accident (last week) and in better spirits than when it all happened! We are all thankful that Derek is alright . . . only the car was hurt in the process.
